Working with impact organizations to build workplaces where more people can contribute and belong

We partner with leaders and people teams to make everyday work, communication, and hiring more inclusive.

Challenges your team may recognize

  1. Good intentions aren’t always enough

Belonging is shaped by how people communicate, make decisions, and experience organizational systems.

  2. Communication can get complicated

Different perspectives can enrich teams, yet communication gaps can limit participation, feedback, and connection.

  3. Systems do not always work equally for everyone

Unchecked policies and processes may create barriers to participation, opportunity, and voice, even when exclusion is not intended.

  4. Culture is experienced through everyday moments

From hiring and onboarding to collaboration and growth, everyday experiences determine whether people feel valued and are able to contribute.

At Made for Belonging, we partner with organizations across four connected areas to strengthen participation, collaboration, and a sense of belonging at work.

Client Stories

Hear from the people we've worked with

  • Our partnership helped us connect recruitment with our organizational purpose and employer brand, while turning broad recruitment challenges into concrete actions. It also helped us think more deeply about how candidates experience ASRI, from communicating vacancies and expectations to interviews and organizational culture. The practical and constructive approach helped us move from discussion to implementation, and we successfully recruited eight people for eight positions.

  • The process helped us look beyond the technical side of hiring and rethink how our vision, mission, identity, and values should guide the process. It helped us recognize that values should be the baseline for finding people who are not only capable, but also aligned with who we are. This gave us a clearer approach to hiring and prompted us to revisit our identity so applicants could understand us better.

  • We gained new perspectives on our hiring process. The feedback was practical, realistic, and relevant to our needs, helping us improve our job descriptions, recruitment tools, and overall approach to hiring. The open discussions also helped us explore specific challenges, including organizational culture. The experience was especially helpful as we continue to build and improve our systems at CERAH.

  • The coaching created a safe and supportive space for organizations to explore their challenges and find solutions suited to their needs. It helped make their recruitment approach more strategic while building trust and rapport in a short amount of time.

  • The organizational blueprint session was a wonderful experience. The session was neatly organized and well-prepared, and the process was encouraging, supportive, and helpful throughout. We also gained valuable insights for our organization, while the overall experience remained fun and enjoyable.

  • For a continuously evolving organization like Buibu Baca Buku (Ibu Cerdas Berdaya), the organizational capacity development work was invaluable. It helped our core team brainstorm, strategize, and forge a powerful alignment of our vision and values, giving us the clarity and confidence to set our course for significant growth and impact.

  • The work helped us design our organizational blueprint while keeping the process focused, fun, and on track. It was a blast, and the process made it easier for us to think clearly about our next step as an organization in the developing phase. We would recommend this kind of facilitation to organizations like ours.
